Nygard Lodge is more than salmon fishing. The very same setting — turf roofs, the long table, the fireplace and the sound of the river — makes a remarkable venue for anniversaries, corporate gatherings, birthdays and celebrations meant to be remembered.
The food is by Stian Kooyman, formerly of the three-Michelin-star restaurant RE-NAA. The menu is tailored to the occasion — from rustic meals over an open fire to five-course dinners with wine pairing.

The season at Nygard Lodge runs from the 1st of May until the end of October.
The long table is laid — your hosts take care of the rest.
A long table beneath old beams, deep leather armchairs before the fire, and a garden looking out over the river. The lodge and the main house sleep the whole party, so the evening never has to end too soon.
In summer, the table is often laid outside in the courtyard — come autumn, the party moves indoors to a crackling fire.
